Short films are an integral part of the long history of cinema. Starting out in documentary formats to the more experimental formats which continue to be explored. Most, if not all, directors in the leading film industry, started their careers by making short films. It’s a highly versatile medium which can respond to a story with more intimacy. Short films also have potential to be distributed through a wide option of distribution schemes.
