John is one of the founders of Q! Film Festival in Indonesia. He now works for 4 different film festivals around the world: Berlin, Shanghai, Tallinn (Estonia) and Manila. He is also actively working as a producer and is finishing 3 feature-length films. When he’s not working he usually lives in Bangkok
Completed her undergraduate study in Cinema Studies at the Jakarta Arts Institute in Indonesia. After working as a film and video curator, she went to the United States. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Anthropology with a secondary field in Film and Visual Studies at Harvard University. She’s working on her dissertation about new technologies and political mobilization in West Papua.
An alumnus of Jakarta Institute of the Arts, majoring Film & Television. A documentary filmmaker with international recognition and reputation, such as the Special Jury Mention at Cinemasia Amsterdam 2014. He is the first Indonesian director who achieved the Directors Guild of Japan Award from Yamagata Documentary Film Festival 2011, Japan. He is actively playing his role as tutor and major supporter of various international workshops.
An alumna of Akademika Student Press, Faculty of Economy, Udayana University. Admin of Balebengong.id and one of the founders of Sloka Institute, the first and the biggest citizen journalism portal in Bali. Actively working as freelance writer while also tutoring at various writing workshops as a form of social responsibility towards Bali’s society.
