Since then, S-Express has become an annual event conducted by its programmers\u2019 network, the short film exchange programs showcased on a regional scale. Minikino joined the S-Express network in 2003, opening the doors of Indonesia\u2019s short program distribution to neighboring countries in the Southeast Asia region. Having been a regular part of Minikino\u2019s Monthly Screenings and Discussions for several years, the S-Exress screenings then became a part of the annual film festival, Minikino Film Week since 2015. For this year, Aceh and Padangpanjang were put together due to the low number of submissions from these two regions.
