Sonja Rohleder is a Berlin-based creator with a passion for animating colorful short films. She is part of the animation collective Talking Animals as well as Studio Pauke and has created more than 8 short films, with her last two set in a jungle. Therefore, the workshop will draw inspiration from the forest. She will explain what animation is, how it works, and will help participants create an animation loop on paper. The workshop will be mostly analog, but a photo stop motion option using a smartphone will also be presented.<\/p>\n

Nanti kita akan menyorotkan gambarmu ke dinding menggunakan lentera ajaib, dan merasakan kembali bagaimana orang-orang di Prancis pada abad ke-17 menyaksikan kisah-kisah ini, yang menjadi cikal bakal proyektor dan film yang kita tonton di bioskop saat ini.<\/p>\n

Workshop ini juga akan dihadiri oleh pengarang buku Les Savoyards, Montreurs De Lanterne Magique, Roger Gonin, yang datang khusus dari Clermont-Ferrand. Peserta workshop juga akan mendapatkan buku yang telah dialihbahasakan dalam Bahasa Indonesia dengan judul: Kisah Pertunjukan Lentera Ajaib Orang-orang Savoia.<\/p>\n

The KORINCO GAMES premiere is showing at the MFW10 Opening event, showcasing the results of the stop-motion animation workshop held by Minikino in collaboration with SESIFF (South Korea) and Bogoshorts (Colombia), as part of the MFW10 Pre-event activities<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This marks the second year of this transnational collaboration, a workshop, designed specifically for children. This engaging workshop introduced young participants to the captivating world of stop-motion animation, where they learned the basics of storytelling, character design, and animation techniques. Guided by experienced mentors, children created their own short animations, fostering creativity and technical skills in a fun and supportive environment.<\/p>\n

The workshops took place on July 3-5 in Bali (Minikino), July 13-14 in Seoul (SESIFF), and July 26-28 in Bogota (BOGOSHORTS). This year\u2019s theme, \u201cKORINCO GAMES,\u201d highlighted traditional children\u2019s games from three countries, following last year\u2019s \u201cKORINCO Dessert\u201d featuring three animal chefs.<\/p>\n

The animations will have their world premiere at all three festivals this year.<\/p>\n
