Produce and submit a short film all within a tight schedule of 34 hours.<\/p>\n<p>There were 50 production groups registered this year and 31 succeeded in meeting the deadline for the competition.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<p>All winners (including all the Non-Monetary Award winners) also receive a free of two-week artist accommodation offer at MASH Denpasar artist residency, in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. Accommodation for 2026 Award Winners must be booked between 1 November 2026 until 30 April 2027 only.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>CASH PRIZE AWARDS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>One winner of <strong>MFW Best Short Film of the Year Award 2026<\/strong> will get Rp. 5.000.000,- (Five Million Rupiah) cash prize.<br \/>\nOne winner for each category below will get Rp 1.000.000,- (One Million Rupiah) cash prize;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MFW Best Children Short Award 2026<\/li>\n<li>MFW Best Fiction Short Award 2026<\/li>\n<li>MFW Best Documentary Short Award 2026<\/li>\n<li>MFW Best Animation Short Award 2026<\/li>\n<li>MFW Best Experimental Short Award 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One winner of <strong>the National Competition Award 2026<\/strong> will get Rp. 5.000.000,- (Five million Rupiah) cash prize.<\/p>\n<p>The programming team and program director recommends these winners, and then given to the 2026 Jury Board members to be previewed. The film directly confronts toxic masculinity by showing us exactly what <\/span><b>not<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to become in order to be a man.
