You always want to show the strongest and more impactful films but at the same time some films might not fit together under one slot. Like life in general, it also needs a balance. Sexuality, Family, Happiness are the 3 elements in life that I think are always being discussed or questioned in everyday life. In principle, SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW offers an organic look on how sexuality is being perceived with the controlling social constructions that has been applied to human being since the day we are born. Religion, traditional belief, education, neighbourhood, and upbringing play crucial role on sexuality. But the program would suggest otherwise. It tries to deconstruct and see the sexuality as it is. Fluid and free. REDEFINING FAMILY AND HAPPINESS is exploring space and family role. How in a modern life, the definition of both family and happiness have shifted through modernism and current way of life.
