Minikino Bali Artist Residency and Yamagata Documentary Dojo will be pairing up for a first-time exchange partnership to send filmmakers to each other\u2019s residency programs. Speaking live from Hijiori hot spring village hidden away in the mountains of northern Japan, Fujioka Asako will introduce the 4-week retreat for Asian filmmakers set for February 2021, when the hamlet will be engulfed in deep snow. Minikino\u2019s residency offers one Japan-based filmmaker a 4-week stay in Bali with the opportunity to take part in collaborative projects with locals.
