DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
I have a special relationship with the sea. I’ve grown in the most beautiful seaside in the world. Even so, I never enjoy the sea unfortunately. Whenever I come close to it, I feel anxiety, sometimes I even ill. But I have no doubt sea’s beauty indeed. Its beauty overpowered me as I realize that the beauty actually makes me sick. It seems like the form of energy built upon a mystery and a secret. Thus I thought I should document these feelings. It would be a simple story about a woman who has left everything she owns. Her hollowness, emptiness and lust only can be satiated in the vast blue sea. (7th, Jan, 2013, from Amsterdam)
