MMSD OKTOBER 2025: SCARY BITES

Duration: 66:26 Minutes
Age Rating: 13+
Programmer: Esa Aulia

Program Note

Snacks can be something eaten not out of hunger but out of desire; as a companion for conversation; for pleasure; even as an escape to calm oneself. Today, people see horror as something fun to talk about, watch, and experience. Fear that was once terrifying now triggers adrenaline and dopamine. This topic is always present in society like a daily snack. Through this program, we will witness how people consume those fears, then reinterpret the sensation not as a threat, but as an escape, entertainment, and profit.
