2026 GUEST PROGRAMS

Minikino Film Week seeks to create space for diverse cultural expressions through the many forms of short films. Each program invites audiences to see the world from different perspectives and reflect on the connections we share.

Every year, Minikino Film Week works with fellow programmers, film institutions, and short film festivals from around the globe, united by common goals and a shared love for the medium.

WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL IN GWANGJU

The Women’s Film Festival in Gwangju has long shared the diverse lives and voices of women with audiences through cinema. This program presents four short films discovered and championed by the festival. It features the Jury Award and Audience Award winners from the festival’s Gwin Short Film Competition, alongside two films made in Gwangju by local filmmakers.
