TSANG Hing Weng Eric is an independent filmmaker and writer from Hong Kong, author of Tales of Honey: A Collection of Interviews with Post-80s Directors from the Greater China.

Eric’s short films earned several awards including the Edward Snowden Award at the 17th Festival International Signes de Nuit – Paris (The Umbrella, 2018) and 2019 Sundance Film Festival Hong Kong Short Film Competition Jury Award (A Thousand Sails, 2019). His television documentaries can also be found at National Geographic Channel, ViuTV and Radio Television Hong Kong. Funded by The 5th First Feature Film Initiative (CreateHK), Eric is now preparing for his debut feature film The Dinner.
