WHO CAN APPLY?
- Open to both Indonesian and non-Indonesian citizens, aged 18 and above.
- Priority will be given to applicants currently residing in Bali.
- Applicants based outside of Bali are welcome to apply, but please note that all travel and accommodation expenses must be covered independently.
Volunteers must be available to attend:
- Online training sessions between 1–6 September 2025
- In-person training on 8–10 September 2025
- Volunteer duties from 11–19 September 2025
- A post-event evaluation meeting on Saturday, 20 September 2025

CHOOSE YOUR DIVISION
MEDIA CENTER
Support journalists and media partners by providing press kits, handling requests, and coordinating interviews. You’ll also help manage daily content screens and report key updates.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Capture the energy of the festival in real time. You’ll create IG stories, interact with followers, and post content from various venues. Basic photography and social engagement skills preferred.
DOCUMENTATION (PHOTO / VIDEO)
Join the documentation team to document festival highlights through your lens or microphone. You’ll follow shotlists from the documentation coordinator and upload daily to the loader team.
EQUIPMENT TEAM
Help set up and maintain technical gear across venues. Ideal for tech-savvy individuals willing to learn about projection and sound systems.
VENUE FIXER
Keep venues tidy, prepared, and well-equipped. Includes setup, checking cleanliness, and ensuring everything runs on schedule.
VENUE COORDINATOR
Lead the screening venue team. Ensure film files are ready, tests run smoothly, and daily reports are submitted.
VOLUNTEER VENUE TEAM
Operate screenings, check in audiences, and log daily data. Receiving, recording, maintaining, and reporting the MFW11 Screening Venue by the festival schedule, including ensuring screen tests (audio-visual) at the beginning of each screening, ensuring film files are available and by the screening schedule. A great role to understand how a film festival runs from the ground up.
TICKETING TEAM
Responsible for distributing and exchanging tickets. Handle audience pass redemptions and maintain accurate logs. A detail-oriented, customer-facing role.
INDUSTRY EVENT VOLUNTEER
Support guest speakers and industry sessions: setup, registration, timekeeping, and basic tech support. Daily documentation and evaluation are required.
MARKET SCREENING
Host daily screenings for market screening. Includes MC duties, tech prep, and room logistics.
SHORT FILM LIBRARY
Manage and assist on-site short film video library. Help them search for titles and gather viewer feedback.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Be a session leader for educational screenings with schools and local groups. Includes session prep, registration support, and reporting.
EDUCATION
Promote Minikino’s education programs at the festival booth. Lead mini-sessions, engage visitors, and collect interest for future outreach.
FRONT DESK
Greet filmmakers and guests, distribute festival kits, and share key information. A welcoming attitude is a must.
INFORMATION CENTER
Answer visitor questions and provide real-time schedule updates. Keep everyone informed and calm amid festival buzz.
GUEST RELATION
Responsible for helping the hospitality festival team provide services to festival guests.. Assist with guest hospitality on-site: accompany guests to sessions, coordinate needs, and ensure smooth experiences.
