MFW BEST SHORT FILM OF THE YEAR AWARD 2021

US$200 cash prizes will be given exclusively to the winner of the Best Short Film of the Year Award 2021

MFW7 NATIONAL COMPETITION AWARD 2021

National competition is only for the nominated Indonesian directors/producers. One winner of the National Competition Award 2021 shall win Rp 2.000.000,- (Two Million Rupiahs) (US$130)

BEGADANG FILMMAKING COMPETITION 2021

One winner of the Begadang Filmmaking Competition 2021 shall win Rp. 5.000.000.- (Five million rupiahs)(US$300)

THE RWI ASIA PACIFIC AWARD AT MFW7

One best film produced in the Asia Pacific region will be selected to receive The RWI Asia Pacific Award at MFW7 and win a cash prize worth of Rp. 10.000.000,- (Ten Million Rupiahs)


The rest of MFW7 AWARDS is a NON-MONETARY REWARD in the form of a Certificate Of Achievement signed by the Committee, and dedicated online announcements as a PUBLIC ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF EXCELLENCE.

These winners are recommended by the programming team, selected by the program director and then given to the 2021 Jury Board members to be previewed. The final decision has been taken by the festival committee, based on these recommendations by the 2021 Jury Board members.

BEGADANG FILMMAKING COMPETITION 2021 NOMINEES

BEGADANG FILMMAKING COMPETITION is a National Short Film Competition that challenges participants to develop their idea, write the script, shoot, edit and, even arrange the music (scoring), all within the very tight schedule. All these films were produced and completed within 34 hours. Kisahpedia and PT Kino Media Nusantara are the proud sponsors of Begadang 2021 promoting diversity and tolerance in Indonesia.
