The Minikino Film Week 11 National Jury Board is comprised of art, literature, and film professionals representing diverse nationalities, disciplines, and genders. They have been invited to preview a selection of nominated Indonesian productions that have successfully passed the 2025 Official Selection and the Indonesia Raja 2025 selection, meeting the criteria for the 2025 National Competition Award.
Additionally, during their review process, the board will evaluate and determine the winner of the BEGADANG 9 TAHUN, The Begadang Filmmaking Competition 2025.
The final decision will be made during the festival, following deliberation meetings among jury members.
Minikino Film Week 11 have the honor to present the national jury members:

LADYA CHERYL
Ladya Cheryl born in Jakarta, Indonesia is an actress. Primarily known for her work in Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (2002), Fiksi (2008), and Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash (2021). Ladya made her acting debut in 2002 and immediately developed a deep passion for the craft.
Kara the Daughter of a Tree ( 2005), Blind Pig Who Wants To Fly ( 2007), Hulahoop Soundings (2008), Postcards From the Zoo (2012), In Blind Pig Who Wants To Fly (2007), garnered her international recognition at several film festivals. She also directed her first short experimental film, Vulgar, which was screened at the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival 2013.
In 2016, she relocated to New York and completed a certificate in film production at The New School in 2018. She then completed a semester-long internship at The Film-Makers’ Cooperative (NACG). Her first film programming experience was The New Year New Work Film Festival 2019, organized by The Film-Makers’ Cooperative. She won Best Actress for Citra award at Indonesian Film Festival 2022. Together with her husband, Zeke Khaseli, she curated ‘Disekitar Pojokan’ for the monthly screening organized by Minikino. Shortly months later, she was commissioned by Julian Abraham to program a short screening as part of Too Good To Be OK exhibition at Sculpture Center, New York.

MATT LLOYD
Matt Lloyd has worked in film exhibitions in Scotland for over twenty five years. He was short film programmer of Edinburgh International Film Festival from 2004 to 2008. His critical history of EIFF, How the Movie Brats Took Over Edinburgh, was published by St Andrews Film Studies in 2011. Matt has worked for BAFTA Scotland and with the Screen Machine mobile cinema, coordinating the two year Rural Cinema North project. His recommendations at the conclusion of that project led to the formation of a Scotland-wide rural film exhibition agency, Regional Screen Scotland.
Matt has been involved in programming or producing several Scottish film festivals including Inverness, Dunoon and Cromarty. He wrote a feasibility study for HippFest, Scotland’s festival of silent film with live music. He has been producing several Scottish film festivals including two high profile Highland events with Mark Cousins and Tilda Swinton.
Matt has also directed three short films. His third film, Pollphail (documentary, 2009) premiered at the London Film Festival and went on to screen at SXSW, Jihlava Documentary Film Festival, CPH:DOX and twenty more international festivals. The other two films were really really bad.

SHOKO TAKEGASA
Festival Director of Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA)
After working in finance, she joined the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA). In 2016 she became the programming manager and has participated in screenings and markets at international film festivals to promote the festival as well as the Japanese short films. She has also been involved in public relations for the SSFF & ASIA, including radio appearances and contributing articles about the festival to film magazines.
From February 2021, she began working as Festival Director at SSFF & ASIA. She also worked for the Tribeca Film Festival as a short film screener, and participated in several festivals including Teheran International Short Film Festival, an Oscar qualified film festival as a member of the jury.
HONORARY JURY
As a recognition of their achievement, the winning director(s) of Begadang 8 Tahun (2024 edition) are invited to serve as the Honorary Jury.
The Honorary Jury will join the National Jury Board in the deliberation meeting to select the winner of the Begadang 9 Tahun Filmmaking Competition (2025).

SYAKIR MARDHATILLAH
Syakir Mardhatillah is a filmmaker based in Jakarta. He recently graduated from the Film School at the Jakarta Institute of Arts in 2023. Currently, he is actively writing and directing short films independently while working as an Assistant to Director in the advertising industry.
