Winner Wijaya is an Indonesian filmmaker. They like to make films since the fifth grade of elementary school because they were taught by their school teacher. Every weekend, together with their friends, they made movies with a MiniDV camcorder. They tried fun new things, painted the house walls green for chroma keying, wore ghost masks, made weird stories, and so on. Their short documentary “Ojek Lusi” was nominated for Piala Citra and won the best short documentary award in Festival Film Dokumenter 2017. In 2020, they won Minikino Best Begadang Filmmaking Competition for their directed film “Hey Guys Balik Lagi Sama Gue, Tuhan!” and were nominated for best short fiction film at Festival Film Indonesia 2020. At the moment, they are in the editing process for their first feature documentary. |

Anna Feistel is a programmer, curator and arts mediator based in Hamburg, Germany. Her passion for short films ignited many years ago organizing a student short film festival and working in a communal cinema. She worked as an art mediator for Art Basel, MKG Hamburg. Since 2016, she has worked in several positions at Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg including the distribution department, festival administration and school cinema week. Since 2019, she is part of the international competition selection committee and the programme coordinator of Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg. |

ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
- Projects that are at least in the rough-cut stage
- Maximum duration: 20 minutes
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
- Must attend the event in person during the festival
- Must have made at least one short film shown to the public
Three (3) selected films will be announced on Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
