KORINCO MUSEUM: PREMIERE

The KORINCO MUSEUM at the MFW11 Opening Event showcases stop-motion animation workshops initiated by Minikino (Indonesia), SESIFF (South Korea), and Bogoshorts (Colombia). As part of the workshop, children visit local museums to explore their country’s heritage and collections, drawing inspiration for their animated creations. Guided by professional mentors, participants gain hands-on experience in storytelling, character design, and animation, culminating in original short films that reflect both artistic development and intercultural understanding.

Now in its third year, this international collaborative workshop continues to nurture young talents, offering a platform for creative exchange among children from different countries through the magic of stop-motion animation.

VOICES WE CARRY

VOICES WE CARRY presents six short films that show how stories can travel. Across generations, across cultures, and sometimes in surprising ways.

This program blends playful experiments in short filmmaking with quiet, thoughtful works that speak to childhood, myth, belief, and tradition. Some are light and imaginative. Others carry gentle reminders of the values we pass down and the courage it takes to speak up.

These films don’t raise their voices to be heard. Instead, they invite us to listen more closely. Each one offers a glimpse into something deeply personal and honest.

As we open Minikino Film Week 11, I invite you to take your time with these stories. Let the voices stay with you, wherever you go next.

Thank you for joining us. Welcome to the festival.
