The BEGADANG FILMMAKING COMPETITION is a National (Indonesia’s) Short Film Production Competition where you have 34 hours to produce a short film. It kicks off at 8 AM and wraps up the next day at 6 PM.
During this time, you’ll handle everything from brainstorming ideas and building your story to finally submitting your finished film. Once done, you’ll send your final film via online transfer to the Begadang Headquarters at Minikino.
Register your child to participate in the collaborative stop-motion animation workshop between three countries: Indonesia, South Korea, and Colombia.
This workshop will hone their creativity, develop teamwork, and learn basic knowledge of making animation by making a short film using the stop-motion technique. The final result of this workshop will be a short animated film that will be combined with the results of other workshops participated by children from South Korea and Colombia.
Minikino has organized various activities that use short films for character and skill development for children. One of these activities is “Club Cinema with SDN 5 Dauh Puri Denpasar.” This initiative has received positive responses, leading Minikino to organize a follow-up event called “Club Cinema for Teenagers” or “Klub Sinema Remaja”.
The fourth edition of the Minikino Hybrid Internship for Film Festival Writers is now accepting applications from 19-25 years old residing in Indonesia or overseas who have a passion for film critique and short film festivals. This program offers participants the chance to broaden their horizons and connect with both Indonesian and international filmmakers, as well as professionals from the short film industry.
Through this program, participants can gain valuable insights into the world of film critique and film festival organization. They will have the opportunity to network with filmmakers and industry experts, fostering meaningful connections that can benefit their future endeavors in the film industry.
Indonesia Raja is a national short film network that facilitates collaborative networks among regions in Indonesia through the exchange of short film programs. Its activities begin with programming, followed by distribution and screening events complemented by discussions. And public reporting at the end of the yearly working period.
