Still feeling the MFW9 sensation? Let’s recollect the memories by joining us for the festival writers’ public presentation. Felix Dustin, Putu Bayuwestra, Natania Marcella, and Pychita Julinanda will share their six-month internship and MFW9 moments through their photographs.

You are welcome to ask questions about all things related to Minikino Film Festival Writers. It is a good opportunity for those who are interested to join the internship programme next year!

PARTICIPANTS

FELIX DUSTIN

Jakarta, Indonesia

Felix is a final-year film student at Multimedia Nusantara University. Previously a scriptwriter and a film festival enthusiast, in 2023 he got the chance to participate in UCIFEST 14 as the Competition Film Programmer. Since then, he has aspired to work in the film festival ecosystem while still liking to write short film scripts in his free time.

NATANIA MARCELLA

Surabaya, Indonesia

An English literature student with a focus on Filmmaking, Natania has been involved in media analysis, writing, filmmaking, and journalism during university. She aspires to make films and write about film, art, and culture. She believes diversity and discussions on film are what define film culture.

PUTU BAYUWESTRA

Bali, Indonesia

Bayu has an interest in reading the film as a text. He was once the Program Director of the 8th Sewon Screening. Currently, he is also active as a scriptwriter in a collective called Rambutifiz and Javania Films, while entering his final year at ISI Yogyakarta.

PYCHITA JULINANDA

Yogyakarta, Indonesia

(they/he) a radical care laborer, a mystical solar punk enthusiast, an occasional cosplayer, but mainly a neurodivergent genderfluid member of the working class laboring as a media and cultural worker. their involvement circles in the Indonesian art scene, media environment, and social movement.
