How You’ll Contribute
You will help the Industry & Market events run smoothly from beginning to end — from coordinating with speakers and welcoming them on site, to preparing the room, keeping sessions on time, and making sure the technical setup and documentation team are ready and working. Throughout the day you’ll coordinate with volunteers and the tech team, keep track of what happens in each session, and share simple reports so the festival can learn and improve. This role is about being attentive, reliable, and present on site, helping conversations happen comfortably for everyone involved.
You Might Be a Good Fit If…

You are attentive, communicative, and not afraid to approach speakers, volunteers, or team members when something needs clarification. You stay calm when situations shift, can keep track of time without being rigid, and are comfortable working with basic technical equipment. An interest in film culture, public discussions, or learning how events run behind the scenes will help you enjoy this role.
How You’ll Help

- Send reminders to speakers one day before and again two hours before the session, and make sure they arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time.
- Make sure the registration desk for participants and speakers is staffed at all times.
- Act as session timekeeper and keep the program running on schedule.
- Confirm a presentation operator is present and all slideshow materials are ready before the session begins.
- Coordinate with the audio team to check equipment, test recording, and record each session according to documentation standards.
- At the end of each day, submit:
- attendance/registration list
- uploaded audio documentation
- photo documentation status
- Brief factual report or voice note based on observations (for reporting purposes, not artistic review)
- Actively participate in daily evaluation and feedback regarding the Market Events.
- Communication & Issue Escalation: Immediately report technical problems to the Technical Supervisor and volunteer-related issues to the Volunteer Manager.
Skills & Experience
- Comfortable communicating in English (email and daily conversation).
