Program Note
The Indonesian short films selected in this program offer stories about inheritance and transformation. Each film opens a conversation within the intimate space between generations. Within the frictions experienced by the characters, we may find a reflection of ourselves. A shared cultural memory that goes beyond geographical boundaries. It is a redefinition of what family, faith, and freedom can mean.
Film-film pendek Indonesia dalam program ini merangkai kisah tentang warisan dan perubahan. Setiap film membuka ruang percakapan dalam kedekatan yang intim antar generasi. Di antara gesekan yang dialami para tokohnya, kita menemukan bayangan diri kita sendiri. Sebuah ingatan kultural yang mengalir, melampaui batas-batas geografis.
