Road to CRAFT Animfest 2025 adalah rangkaian pemutaran film pendek yang diselenggarakan sebagai pra-acara menuju CRAFT Animfest 2025. Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan festival kepada khalayak yang lebih luas sekaligus menampilkan karakter dan kualitas khas dari film-film pilihan yang ditayangkan dalam CRAFT Animfest 2023.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, Road to CRAFT Animfest 2025 berkolaborasi dengan berbagai komunitas, ruang seni budaya, isnttitusi pendidikan, serta festival film lainnya. program ini akan berlangsung di minimal delapan lokasi di Pulau Jawa dan Bali, dari bulan Mei hingga September 2025.

Program Note:
Road to CRAFT Animfest 2025 is a series of short film compilation screenings held as a pre-event to CRAFT Animfest 2025. It aims to introduce the festival to a wider audience and to showcase the unique character and quality of the films presented by the festival. The program features a selection of the best films from the most recent edition, CRAFT Animfest 2023.
In its execution, Road to CRAFT Animfest 2025 collaborates with various communities, cultural art spaces, educational institutions, and even fellow film festivals. The program will take place at a minimum of eight venues across Java and Bali, from May to September 2025.

About CRAFT ANIMFEST
The 5th CRAFT Animfest 2025 will be held on October 28 – 01 November 2025 in the Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesia.
CRAFT International Animation Festival (CRAFT Animfest) is the first festival in Asia celebrating traditional techniques in animation (stop motion, classic drawing/painting animation, sand animation, etc.) It is also the first festival in Southeast Asia to review the current artistic animation implemented in this part of the world (in that case including digital techniques).
CRAFT Animfest task is to popularize some classic techniques of animation in a computer-dominated environment. Also to appreciate artists from the Southeast Asia region. Ones who, regardless of the technique, make original and interesting films. The moments of CRAFT Animfest is also a time for a creative meeting and exchange of experiences between creators and festival goers.
CRAFT Animfest started as a biennial festival held every odd year since 2017. Starting with its fifth edition in 2025, the festival will be held annually, during the same week as World Animation Day, celebrated on October 28.
