SHORTS UP 2025

Powered by Yayasan Kino Media and Purin Pictures

The Indonesian film industry has grown significantly over the past 20 years, yet many filmmakers still face skill and knowledge gaps. Founded in 2024, SHORTS UP was created to bridge this divide by supporting emerging talents who lack access to opportunities, resources, and information to make their short films.

SHORTS UP nurtures fresh perspectives, enhances industry diversity, and strengthens Southeast Asia’s cinematic landscape. SHORTS UP helps bring regional stories to a global audience by empowering new voices.

Registration is open exclusively for Indonesian filmmakers, starting Wednesday, 9 April 2025, and closing on Wednesday, 30 April 2025 at 12:00 PM (noon) WITA.
